Nikko Waxworms are artificial waxworms. I had gotten a package years ago on one of my visits to Japan. I fished with them a few times, and caught fish, but never did import them. I've done well fishing with waxworms but real waxworms don't stay on the hook well. The Nikko Waxworm solves that problem. The plastic is quite durable and will last for lots of fish.
