Owner Sode hooks are used in Japan for Pale Chubs, smelt and small crucian carp. Here in the US, they would be well suited for chubs, larger shiners and small sunfish.
The hooks are substantially larger than tanago hooks, so they will not work for smaller micros, but they will hook and hold somewhat larger fish much more securely.
